Whitstable Farmers Market
Master Chef evening
Spring into Easter with local chef Rob Cooper on March 28th
Transition Town Whitstable and Whitstable Farmers Market are proud to present the second in their series of 4 seasonal master classes, in celebration of local food. On Saturday, March 28th Rob Cooper, (previously of Samphire, Whitstable - now Head Chef at Lounge on the Farm's new Canterbury restaurant, The Farmhouse) will present an evening of master chef entertainment and cookery demonstrations around that most quintessential of Easter ingredients: lamb. Audience members will literally ‘learn their way around lamb' as Rob demonstrates, using a lamb sourced from nearby Monkshill Farm, how all the various cuts of lamb are cooked in his restaurant. This is cooking which is economical, local, sustainable & delicious! The star raffle prize of the evening will be a three-course meal for two at The Farmhouse in Canterbury, topping a fantastic night of food fun. Bar selling local beer, wine, cider and apple juice.
